Tejas is operated by the umbrella organization Cuisine Concepts, with principals John Dayton, Wayne Kostroski, and Mark Haugen.

     Cuisine Concepts also operates Goodfellow's Restaurant, located in downtown Minneapolis, the Franklin Street Bakery, a wholesale bakery with a flagship retail store located in Marshall Field's Marketplace in downtown Minneapolis, Tejas Express, located in Marshall Field's Skyroom in downtown Minneapolis, and a restaurant management and consulting business.

     Cuisine Concepts also conceived, developed, and currently manages Bar Abilene in the Uptown area of Minneapolis.
